Avimer Proteins are multimeric binding proteins or peptides engineered using in vitro exon shuffling and phage display. Multiple binding domains are linked, resulting in greater affinity and specificity compared to single epitope immunoglobin domains.〔(Multivalent avimer proteins evolved by exon shuffling of a family of human receptor domains - Nature Biotechnology )〕 These properties make avimer proteins extremely useful as potential tools and therapeutics. == References == Expert Opinion on Investigational Drugs June 2007, Vol. 16, No. 6, Pages 909-917 Multivalent avimer proteins evolved by exon shuffling of a family of human receptor domains Nature Biotechnology 23, 1556 - 1561 (2005) Avimers hold their own Nature Biotechnology 23, 1493 - 1494 (2005) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Avimer proteins」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
